Must-Attend Events for the A-list Marketer

Spring is here and flowers are budding, bright green foliage is appearing, and booths are being stocked with the latest swag in conference centers all across the nation... it’s marketing event season!

And you can’t miss out on these must-attend events for the smartest A-list marketers out there. I’m here to guide you on your event selection journey and provide you with some tips along the way-- because there’s so much more to these conferences than just free booze.

1. Marketo’s Marketing Nation Summit

When: April 29th-May 2nd

Where: San Francisco, CA

This is THE marketing event of the year and it’s not just for marketing operations. It is the marketing equivalent of music’s Grammys. Summit is an event catered to senior-level marketing professionals to help them make the choices that will drive their business forward.

The theme for this year’s summit is the Fearless marketer, so attend to learn how to gear up with the best tips, tricks, and tools to become the #fearless marketer you are. This year’s keynotes include the former CMO of AirBnB (who are #marketinggoals), Jamie Foxx (actual Grammy winner), Lindsey Vonn (Olympic medalist and girl boss), and many more.

2. SiriusDecisions Summit

When: May 8th-10th

Where: Las Vegas, NV

Get your gamble and your marketing hat on in Las Vegas with SiriusDecisions. This event will be three full days of data-driven research that will unveil the new innovations in b2b marketing. The content of the event is always spot-on, as well as the fellow attendees to network with (there’s some serious pros)!

3. Hubspot’s Inbound

When: September 4-7

Where: Boston, MA

If Marketing Nation Summit is the Grammys, then this is the MTV Movie Awards. Just as informative and credible, this event is for the people out there who love to learn inbound marketing best practices just as much as they love to have fun.
