It can be considered part of strategy, but I see it missed often enough that I think it&#039;s important to call it out separately - it&#039;s market knowledge.  Too often companies &#039;assume&#039; they have the facts on the target market, how they buy, what their issues are and what messages will resonate with them.  If a company misses this, they don&#039;t have a chance of achieving marketing effectiveness, no matter how well they execute and measure.</description>
